The first and most authentic Motogp replica. I know Honda’s RC213V-S is based on Marquez’s bike, but it’s too... Honda. Fast, exotic, yes, but you get the impression anyone could ride it. Ducati’s V4 is way more focused. Based on the wild 990-era racer, you need to go hard for it to work. It felt awful wobbling round on its launch, until I got corners muddled and went in way to hot. Or too hot for me: the Desmo got into its operating range and made the turn feel effortless. Staggeringly capable... as long as you can keep up. This one’s new-old-stock.
