This 1967 RC181 500cc four is the bike Mike Hailwood raced in several nonchampionship races and features a Reynolds frame Mike commissioned after his factory RC181’S handling proved to be ‘problematic’. Chassis designer Ken Sprayson came up with a single tube full cradle frame to replace Honda’s twin tube open cradle design.
