All this modern ease of use and refinement is all well and good, but do you remember when you actually had to a big bike? I had a friend who bought Suzuki’s 1100 back when it was new, and it was thrilling and scary in equal measure (it had home-made stubby exhausts too, and sounded like a Lancaster in a nose dive). This WT model from 1996 has some light scuffs on its ace ’90s bodywork, but is all there and ready to be slung back on the road where its 1074cc of grunt and burly chassis can give you a proper workout. Chest hair not included.
