£1900saving Indian FTR1200

» We like Indian’s FTR. The V-twin motor is a punchy, free-revving delight, the chassis turns keenly, and it looks and feels exactly how a road-legal flat tracker should. The 2020 bike costs £11,899, which seems entirely reasonable given the quality. But Indian are now flogging remaining 2019 models for an attractive £9999. Yes, it’s last year’s bike – but other than when it plopped off the production line there’s no difference to the 2020 bike. So nobody will know (and wouldn’t care if they did).

0% finance Kawasaki Z900RSCAFE

» Proof that there’s more to this ongoing retro boom than rumbling big twins and skinny-tyred middleweights. The RS’S mix of then and now shouldn’t work; after all, it’s the contemporary Z900 naked dressed up a bit like a Z1. But with its old school dials, surging inlinefour motor and pleasing looks, it has real appeal – especially the 1970s superbike Cafe version. And it’s currently got 0% interest on their own-it-at-the-end-withno-final-payment HP offer.

£1000 saving Suzuki RM-Z450

» Motocross bikes look expensive. Eight grand for a single-cylinder puddle-jumper you can only use in fields? You’re buying a honed race machine, of course – imagine what a production Moto2 bike would cost. And Suzuki have made the world of MX more affordable. Their race-winning RM-Z450 hasn’t the outright power of rivals, but makes up for it with midrange drive (what you need for acceleration on dirt) and agility. They have a grand off at £5999, which is also £2k less than the equivalent Honda CRF450.

£119amonth Yamaha Niken

» Yes, we keep banging on and on about the Niken (pronounced try-see-cal). But it genuinely is something you shouldn’t knock until you’ve tried it. The additional grip, wet-weather confidence and stability from double front wheels are staggering, yet it still handles and responds like a two wheeler. It’s got the amazing MT-09 engine, too. Access to this bold sports-tourer is now easier thanks to a 0% PCP deal – with a £3k deposit the fourteen-grand Niken is just £119.64 per month.
