Triumph’s latest competition was a challenge to customise a Bonneville and was won by Fowlers of Bristol, who built this VE Day-commemorative bike, featuring girder forks, canvas bags, a blacked-out engine and commemorative badges all over the place. ‘We’ll probably put it in the showroom for a bit and then sell it,’ says Fowlers’ Mike Tomlins. ‘We’ve had interest from all round the world – I had a call from Saudi the other day – so I don’t suppose it will hang around long.’ To put in an offer call 0117 977 0466.
