Luggage

Brilliant luggage system looks moulded to the bike when fitted, and leaves clean lines with no ugly brackets when unmounted. Or just leave them on – the peg and exhaust cover both scrape before the panniers.

Quickshifter

Works best at fully-open or fully-closed throttle from 5000rpm to 10,000rpm. Don’t rely on it round town, especially when kicking between first and second. Turn it off and practice clutchless upshifts.

Screenadjuster

» Adjust the screen by pressing a paddle next to the TFT dash. Lower is better, unless it’s raining. Despite well-meaning, but ultimately dangerous, attempts to adjust it while moving it transpires this cannot be done.

Clutchcover

Test bike’s clutch cover scratched easily. Kawasakibrand covers don’t protect the whole casing so go aftermarket for long term protection. A Gbracing cover from £65 is a good bet. gbracing.eu
