Tool of the month
If you fiddle about with bikes, sooner or later you’ll need a multimeter – perhaps to check the battery output or fuses, or something more complicated like the regulator/ rectifier. For the average DIY mechanic, the Vici (sometimes marketed as a Proster) is perfect. It’s accurate, the autoranging is fast (where it decides what scale to measure on) and the rubber casing means it’s lasted three years of me dropping it. It has far more measurement capabilities than I’ll ever need (it even does temperature, so you could use it to check the turkey), but still seems like good value. £21.99Amazon
