» Speaking as an unbiased owner I can confirm Yamaha’s ‘Ultimate Dual’ TDR250 is the greatest motorcycle ever. So therefore it stands to reason that the 50cc version is the best of the GAG bikes created for the craze in 1980s Japan. The TDR is the most ‘realistic’ of all the scaled-down 50s: Yamaha created a new liquid-cooled 49cc single with over 7bhp, and the frame, absorbent suspension and bodywork all mimicked the 250. There was an 80cc version too. This example has only done 814 miles, runs, but needs a quick tidy up. It’s at West Coast Imports (01643 800624).
