If this bike was made by Honda, we’d be blathering about seismic market shifts. Afterall, an electric motorcycle that does 155mph, has a 150-mile range and costs under £15,000 sounds like the future is almost here. But this is not made by Honda, it’s made by Damon, a start-up with huge ideas and 25 bikes under their belt. They are however gearing up for higher production levels, and are taking orders for two new models. The Hypersport HS costs £18,750 and Damon claim it has 200bhp, a 200-mile range and a top speed of 200mph. The SX costs £14,995 and has that tempting 155mph/150-mile range combo. Both will be fitted with a sophisticated crash avoidance system and electrically adjustable bars and footpegs.
