‘Good fun, though’

Here’s Rhyan Leighton, halfway through the day’s racing on his Honda Cub. Or rather off it. ‘It’s only my second experience of racing on track,’ says Rhyan. ‘I normally race off-road enduro. The weather’s atrocious, good fun though – don’t get me wrong.’ Over the length of the six-hour race there are just a handful of crashes, which considering the amount of rain washing about Mallory is a blessing. Thankfully, due to the lack of speed generated, the crashes are relatively tame and injuries few and far between.
