» Suzuki aren’t bringing the GSX-R1000 to the UK anymore. They’ll still happily sell you the higher-spec 1000R, but the non-r is no more. List price was £14,195 but Wheels (01733 358555) are asking £12,895. You get all the epic variable-valve performance and electronics but slightly lowergrade suspension – and for riding on the road you really won’t tell. Suzuki have also quietly got rid of the V-strom 250, so dealers are already knocking off money and throwing in extras.
