» Derek Jones and Brian Ayres raced Yamaha-powered sidecars from the 1970s through the 1980s. The highlight of their career was going to Silverstone in their knackered van for the British GP in ’80, with an out-of-date outfit, worn leathers and not two ha’pennies to rub together… and beating the best in the world. This is the cheery pair on their lap of honour.
