Baines Imola 900
£15,950
Ducati caused a stir at major bike shows at the end of 2003 with the Sportclassic retro concepts. But despite lots of interest it was over two years before you could buy the throwback twins, so Ducati specialists Baines Racing got in first with Project Imola. It was a kit comprising a lightweight frame in T45 Reynolds tubing and all the parts to make your donor SS or Monster (600, 750 or 900cc) look like a bevel-drive 900SS from the 1970s. This spotless bike is the second one made (it’s got a numbered top yoke) and was used by Baines for their brochure.
