I get the 916 thing. But for me the 851/888 is nicer on the road and has greater presence. The SP5 was the final limited-run Sport Production version with Pankl rods, twin injectors, Termi cans, Öhlins shock and more. Hard, raw edged, its performance was a greater step up from cooking versions than later Ducati SPS. This one is immaculate, unrestored, and done 7619 miles with a vast history file. ‘The best SP5 in the world’ is a big claim. Believable, mind.
