Tiger for £81 a month

Bike revealed the Tiger Sport 660 prototype last month. Now we get the final bike and price

-

Triumph’s new Tiger Sport 660 will cost £8450 when it arrives in showrooms in February, making it just £248 more than the bigselling Yamaha Tracer 700 – a bike it outguns in terms of power (80bhp to 74) and electronic goodies such as rider modes and TFT screen. The Tiger 660 also gets a tempting PCP finance deal. If you put a £2000 deposit down, the PCP is £81 a month for three years at 7.9% APR. With a £1000 deposit it’s £112 a month. Both have a 4000-mile annual limit but if you want to do more, a £2000 deposit with an annual limit of 10,000 miles is just £101 a month. All these are cheaper than the equivalent deals on the Tracer 700, presumably because the Tiger is expected to depreciate less. Triumph also revealed the inevitable blizzard of extras, should you be desperate to spend more...
