Triumph’s Scrambler Steve Mcqueen Edition is a looker, isn’t it? Can’t blame Triumph for » trading on the star riding a Triumph in The Great Escape, but he was nearly on a BMW. The story goes that the film folk wanted BMWS but Mcqueen and pal Bud Ekins (who did the famous jump) wanted Triumphs. It was settled with a race which Ekins won on a Triumph.
