The last lap of the 2019 Ulster GP Supersport race at Dundrod is anything but hypnotic. It’s nuts. When you’re onboard with Peter Hickman, you’re inches from the tail of Lee Johnston’s R6 as it slews sideways into corners. When you’re onboard with Lee Johnston you get a second of clear road – deep breath, relax – before Hickman’s Triumph 675 drifts into view just inches to the left and the duo have a terrifying out-braking tussle before some tree-lined 120mph corner.
