Highlights

The most outrageous claim of the month came from the Scillonian III off Land’s End, Cornwall, when a distant bird was photographed and later claimed as a Tufted Puffin. Unfortunately, as the photos surfaced, they proved far from conclusive, owing to the distances involved.
