BARR BEACON: There were two Redstarts and a Spotted Flycatcher. Three Ravens and a Peregrine flew over. BARTLEY RESERVOIR: There was a Mediterran­ean Gull, Yellow-legged Gull and a fly-over Red Kite. CLAYHANGER: There were Tawny Owls, a Barn Owl and Little Owl. A Whinchat passed through. LUTLEY: Several Tree Pipits flew over. A Redstart, Spotted Flycatcher­s, Wheatears, Yellow Wagtails, a Peregrine and Hobby were also seen. MARSH LANE: Waders included a Turnstone, four Black-tailed Godwits, three Greenshank­s, a Spotted Redshank, Dunlin, Snipe, Common Sandpiper and Green Sandpiper. There was a Mediterran­ean Gull, Whinchat, Spotted Flycatcher, Yellow Wagtails, Raven and Peregrine. Cetti’s Warblers r emained. Several Little Egrets and two Hobbies were reported. ROWLEY HILLS: Tree Pipits, Redstarts, Spotted Flycatcher­s and four Lesser Whitethroa­ts were present. SANDWELL VALLEY: Over 50 Spotted Flycatcher­s, 20 Redstarts, 15 Tree Pipits, four Wheatears, three Whinchats and Yellow Wagtails passed through. Waders included Black-tailed Godwit, Green Sandpiper and Redshank. A Garganey, Arctic Tern, two Little Egrets and a Hobby were at Swan Pool. Goosanders and a Yellow-legged Gull were on Forge Mill. Over 80 Ring-necked Parakeets roosted. OTHER SITES: A Little Egret was at Sheepwash Urban Park. A Hobby and Little Egret were at Knowle. Spotted Flycatcher­s and a Redstart were at Park Lime Pits.
