1 First walk along the track with bushes and trees on one side to check for Blackbird, Thrush, House Sparrow, Dunnock, Chaffinch, Robin, Wren and all three tits. 2 Then the path goes round the end of the oxbow where there is a large reedbed attracting Reed Bunting, Reed Warbler or Sedge Warbler. 3 Then along the Greenfields Woodland checking for Jay, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Treecreeper or Nuthatch. 4 Finally along the steep sided walk where Jackdaws are around then down the footpath by the roadside looking over the oxbow to the east which is a large open area where a possible Barn Owl can be seen and summer visitors Swallow, House Martin and Swift can be seen. Note that Red Kites are recorded more frequently in the general area so you may be lucky.
