Loafing about!

Reading Dominic Couzens’ article on herons ‘loafing about’ reminded me of just such a group at Radipole Lake RSPB, Dorset, recently. It’s not the best photo but there were 16 herons and one Little Egret on the one patch of cut reeds. And yes, just ‘loafing about’, bar one! Rob Sumsion
