The most well-watched rarity of the month was probably the Stejneger’s Stonechat at Kelling, Norfolk, although the eclipse drake King Eider, not too far away in north-east Norfolk, variously along the coast from Sea Palling to Sheringham, was also a big crowd draw. A Brown Shrike was seen at Weybourne, Norfolk (21st).
