Go through the village on the B660 and then on over the level crossing but beware – you can be stuck waiting at it for quite some time! where to PARK: Turn left towards the National Nature Reserve – there are several pull-ins at which you can park safely, and similarly the lane looking across the fen at point 3 has wide verges that allow you to park easily terrain: Tarmac roads and some gravelly areas facilities: The Admiral Wells pub, situated at the Holme level crossing, is pretty much it – you’ll need to go to Stilton, Sawtry or Yaxley for anything other than a drink, a pub meal, or toilets PUBLIC transport: Nearest railway station is Peterborou­gh.
