HIGHLIGHTS: Lincolnshi­re’s first American Bittern was at Fiskerton Fen (1st). A Glossy Ibis was at Deeping Lakes (2nd), with another over Gibraltar Point (15th). Three Cranes flew over Deeping High Bank (3rd). A Dusky Warbler was at Donna Nook (5th). A Green-winged Teal was at Frampton Marsh (19th-21st). A Grey Phalarope was at Freiston Shore (28th-30th). A Siberian Chiffchaff was at Baston Fen (1st).

FRAMPTON MARSH: There was a Smew (1st), two pale-bellied Brent Geese (1st), three Scaup (3rd), four Russian White-fronted Geese (15th), five Hen Harriers (16th) and a Short-eared Owl (from 20th).

GIBRALTAR POINT: Highlights included two Tundra Bean Geese (1st), three Snow Buntings (1st), a Pomarine Skua (1st), Velvet Scoter (1st), Great White Egret (5th), two Lapland Buntings (5th), two Bearded Tits (7th), a Cetti’s Warbler and two Shags (8th), a Short-eared Owl (8th), Black Redstart (10th), Hen Harrier (10th), Black-throated Diver (11th), Long-tailed Duck (20th), Great Skua (20th), three Great Northern Divers (21st) and an Iceland Gull (24th). Two Bewick’s Swans were on Tennyson’s Sands (31st).

OTHER SITES: An Iceland Gull was at Saltfleet (1st-17th). Covenham Reservoir held a Red-necked Grebe, two Turnstones (3rd) and a Lapland Bunting (12th). A Hen Harrier was nearby (5th). Eight Bewick’s Swans were at Holbeach St Johns. Russian Whitefront­s were at Baston Pits, Westwoodsi­de, Saltfleetb­y, Burgh-le-Marsh, Woodhall Spa, Thurlby and Fillingham Lake. A Waxwing was at Grimsby (5th).

Two Scaup were at Stallingbo­rough (1st), with others at Freiston Shore (3rd), East Halton Skitter (6th-20th), Cleethorpe­s CP (12th-24th) and Tallington Lakes (from 27th). A Spoonbill was at Woodhall Spa Airfield (2nd). Two Water Pipits were at Killinghol­me Haven (10th). Eight Tundra Bean Geese were at Anderby Creek (14th). Three Bitterns were at Whisby Nature Park.
