HIGHLIGHTS: Two Cackling Geese remained in North Uist. A Lesser Scaup was on Loch Bee, South Uist (to 18th). The Spotted Sandpiper was seen again on St. Kilda (17th). A White-rumped Sandpiper was in Stinky Bay, Benbecula (1st-8th). A Lesser Yellowlegs was at Balemore, North Uist (19th-20th). A Dusky Warbler was at South Galson, Lewis (30th).

OTHER SITES: Green-winged Teal were at Callanish, Coot Loch, Loch Stilligarr­y and Carnach. Ring-necked Ducks were at Loch Tiumpan and Loch Bee throughout, with a female on Loch Hosta (18th). A Surf Scoter was off North Dell (14th). Velvet Scoters were off Balivanich and Askernish (15th), and Peninerine (29th). A Storm Petrel was off North Galson (28th). A few Sooty Shearwater­s included 17 off Brevig (13th). A Great White Egret was at Loch Bee (17th).

The American Golden Plover remained in the Paible area (to 21st). A Grey Phalaropes was at Ardvule (1st), with two there (9th). Two were off St. Kilda (17th). Two Little Gulls were off North Galson (27th). Four Pomarine Skuas were off Barra, with another over Baleshare. Little Auks were off Ardvule (9th) and Brevig (13th). A Garden Warbler was in Castlebay (1st), with a Siberian Chiffchaff there (26th).

Yellow-browed Warblers were at Castlebay and Callernish (3rd), and Loch Eynort (4th). Black Redstarts were on Vatersay (5th-6th), and at Loch Sandary and St. Kilda (16th). A Waxwing was in Lochboisda­le (18th). A Common Rosefinch was in Bornish (15th-21st). Lapland Buntings were at Eochar (17th) and Balemore (19th).
