Dipper delight

-

I live on Walney Island, Cumbria. The corner house on my road has a brick wall in the front garden. Back in July, I was enthralled watching a Dipper on the wall for 20 minutes calling, when a chick arrived. ‘Mum’

whispered in its ear and flew away. The chick remained for 10 minutes, when the parent came back and fed it, then left again. After another 10 minutes she was back with more food, she then left and the baby followed. Nature at its best! Vera Wilson, via email
