1 Conservation Hero of the Year

WINNER: Chris Packham

The immensely popular TV presenter and wildlife activist has been named your Conservation Hero for the fourth time.

In 2021, he presented a six-part BBC Two documentary series called Animal Einsteins, a one-hour special titled Chris Packham: A Walk That Made Me and co-presented Chris and Meg’s Wild Summer, with stepdaughter Megan McCubbin.

Chris has remained a passionate advocate for wildlife in the face of increasing harassment, including a suspected arson attack on his home in October 2021, when two masked men set fire to a vehicle which exploded and destroyed the gates to his property.
