Accountants aim to increase their Reach in new premises

-

A BIRMINGHAM firm of chartered accountants has moved to new premises – just a few doors away from its old home.

Morgan Reach has taken up residence at 136 Hagley Road, in Edgbaston, in the old offices of Chantrey Vellacott DFK before moving to a new home on the Calthorpe Estate.

The firm has renamed the new head office building Morgan Reach House and marked the move with a reception which welcomed Edgbaston MP Gisela Stuart.

Managing director Kamran Sheikh said: “This is such an exciting time for the firm.

“It’s been a great year and to be able to move to new offices so quickly now gives us the space to continue growing, evolving and adapting so that we can remain focused on the needs of our clients.

“In light of the recent decision for the UK to leave the EU, one of our main priorities in our new office is to set up a Brexit Hotline for our clients so that we can advise swiftly on any concerns they have.

“We believe that all business owners need good, strong and pragmatic advice during these uncertain but potentially exciting times and the launch of our Hotline is all part of our continued support and commitment to the business community.”

Mrs Stuart added: “Now that Brexit is a reality, it is up to all of us to seize the opportunities which it provides as individuals, businesses and cities.

“Birmingham is traditionally modest about its city and citizens but it’s time that we told everybody what a great place it is to live and work.

“Birmingham used called the workshop world.

“Brexit gives Birmingham the opportunity to become that again.” to of be the
