Che targets 15 goals for the season
NEW Blues striker Che Adams has set himself a target of 15 goals for the season and said there is no reason why Gary Rowett’s team can’t go all the way to the Premier League.
He said: “I’m happy the deal is over the line, it’s been going on for a couple of weeks now.
“There’s been a bit of frustration because I haven’t been playing as much as I would like.
“Blues are close to Leicester where I’m based and this is a great club and a massive club. I’m excited, I always remember Blues being a big team.”
He revealed that he thinks Blues will benefit his style of play and he sees himself on the scoresheet quite a bit.
He said: “I like to attack and get forward, take players on and score goals. It’s a dream come true really, there are some good players in this team.
“I take my career one step at a time, I try my best and work hard in training every day. I hope to be a big asset for this team.
“My main aim is to score goals and get this team in the Prem. I’ll be annoyed if I don’t hit my target of 15 goals this season.
“Blues like to pass it around so hopefully I can be on the end of some of these balls.
“I’ve seen the gaffer a couple of times, he likes to play younger players and that’s a big thing for me.
“He is a very good manager and it’s a pleasure to work with him.
