The Business District will be welcoming the seasonal festivities in style with mulled wine, mince pies and a singalong with Colmore Chorus – the District’s very own choir – plus a roller-skating Christmas pudding. The evening is being arranged by Colmore Business District BID, which pays for the real Christmas trees in Colmore Square and Church Street Square, plus Christmas lights in Livery Street, Newhall Street, Barwick Street, Edmund Street, Margaret Street, Cornwall Street and Steelhouse Lane. New decorations for this year include 12 lamp column lights in Colmore Square and three in Snow Hill Square. Colmore BID Chair Gary Cardin said: “We’re delighted once again to be providing the lights in the Business District and to be able to contribute to the festive feel in the city. Come along on November 16 to enjoy a mince pie and drink in the company of one of Birmingham’s most popular personalities and to hear the delightful sounds of Colmore Chorus Choir.”
