Primestaff in Brum move

-

A RECRUITMENT consultancy based in Scotland has announced plans to expand into Birmingham.

Glasgow-based Primestaff already has English offices in Leeds, Scunthorpe and Corby following its acquisition of Direct Workforce last year and is now looking at tapping into Birmingham’s growing jobs market.

The recruitment sector in the city is expected to thrive in the next few years as more companies and organisations move to the city to benefit from its increased corporate office space and huge graduate output every summer.

Managing director Tony Vezza said: “When we first acquired Direct Workforce, it was part of a strategic plan to establish a presence in the North of England.

“In the ten months since the acquisition, we’ve been encouraged by the high-performance in the region and ultimately, that has accelerated our plans. Thanks to the extremely talented team we brought on board last year, our reputation now extends to both sides of the border.”
