Mailbox is ready for a new iLite

A NEW high-end lighting store is opening at the Mailbox in Birmingham city centre next week.

iLite is claimed to be the city’s only shop to partner with Swarovski Lighting, part of the globally renowned crystal group, and will launch in the boutique shopping mall on November 13.

The store will stock pendants, wall lights and table lamps by the legendary brand alongside names such as Schonbek, Masiero, Foscarini and Diesel Lighting.

Store owner Jane Vaar said she hit upon the idea after talking with the director of world markets for Swarovski Lighting last year whereby a concept was created for the store in order to explore ways to present its lighting.

She said: “This is the first of many stores to come as we plan to expand iLite and Swarovski Lighting to several EU countries and the Middle East.

“The grand plan is to not only capture the entire luxury lighting market for the UK but for the whole world.”
