City never learns as history destroyed

Birmingham Post - - NEWS -

DEAR Editor, It is little wonder that Birmingham’s historian Dr Carl Chinn is outraged as yet another piece of our history is destroyed.

The Fox and Grapes could have had some viability when you consider that within walking distance we will have Curzon Street, the hub of HS2.

Manchester, Liverpool, London and Glasgow have all had the sense to preserve their historic buildings.

But not Birmingham. We concrete it, chop it down or reduce it to rubble!

And did I read that a councillor said that they deserve more money? If I had my way then they would be in the stocks and I would give Dr Chinn the first box of tomatoes!
