His­tory made by BSEA boss

A WEALTH man­ager has made his­tory by be­com­ing the first fe­male head of the Birm­ing­ham Stock Ex­change As­so­ci­a­tion in more than 170 years.

New chair­woman Lin­sey Rud­dell, 44, is the first woman to take over the post in the fi­nan­cial or­gan­i­sa­tion’s 173-year his­tory.

She is se­nior di­rec­tor at EFG Har­ris All­day and joined the firm in 1994 hav­ing spent her year-long univer­sity place­ment with them.

Ms Rud­dell said: “I am truly hon­oured to have been voted by the com­mit­tee to be the chair­man of the Birm­ing­ham Stock Ex­change As­so­ci­a­tion. I am the first ever woman in the role but hope­fully will not be the last.”
