History made by BSEA boss
A WEALTH manager has made history by becoming the first female head of the Birmingham Stock Exchange Association in more than 170 years.
New chairwoman Linsey Ruddell, 44, is the first woman to take over the post in the financial organisation’s 173-year history.
She is senior director at EFG Harris Allday and joined the firm in 1994 having spent her year-long university placement with them.
Ms Ruddell said: “I am truly honoured to have been voted by the committee to be the chairman of the Birmingham Stock Exchange Association. I am the first ever woman in the role but hopefully will not be the last.”
