See the light on the road and stay safe

-

DURING the recent dull and wet weather, I cannot understand the number of drivers driving without their lights on.

As a retired mechanic and driver of all types of vehicles for more than 60 years, I understand the workings of vehicles.

I just wondered if these drivers think the battery may go flat or the engine may cut out if they put their lights on – or do they just forget to turn on the switch?

The main point is that if lights are on, then vehicles can be seen better by all road users.
