Consultancy helps out with a £15,000 support package

-

WITH many businesses anticipating a bumpy few months ahead as the fallout of the coronavirus crisis continues to hit firms hard, a Birmingham business consultancy is offering a support lifeline to one lucky manufacturer.

Prescient Business Consulting (PBC), based in Brindleyplace, is offering the chance to win a £15,000 business support package.

The winner will receive a consultancy package worth £15,000, including three days of one-to-one consultancy. There will also be two runners-up prizes of half a day consultancy.

The competition, run in partnership with Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, is aimed at companies in sectors involved in manufacturing, engineering, technology, logistics, energy and industrial business with a turnover of over £5 million and employing at least 20 people.

The closing date for entry is Wednesday, September 30, and details of how to apply can be found by visiting www. greaterbirminghamchambers.com/latest-news/competitions/

David Thomson, PBC’s founder, said that now is the right time for businesses to have an objective look in to how they operate.

He said: “We are very excited to have this opportunity to help local businesses, and to be doing so in partnership with the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, which does so much great work to support business in the region.

“We know there are many amazing businesses out there, but in these very difficult and uncertain economic conditions, now is the right time for us all to have an objective look at our businesses.

“Regardless of the industry, size or complexity, this is always the starting point of our approach. We form a realistic, outside view of the business and then find out from the owners and management of the company where they want it to go. From there, we can work with individuals and teams, adding our own insights, to develop creative strategies and robust processes.” Since launching in 2018, PBC has gained a number of large, international clients. After successfully helping clients to improve their performance, they have ambitious plans for their own future growth; including expansion of their existing team and launching new services to sit alongside the existing portfolio of strategy development, sales, finance, supply chain, HR, L&D and culture.
