ONTHE RADAR GIVE YOURSELF A BOOST
PARIS IS CALLING
WHILE we still slob about in sweatpants, over in the French capital at the weekend real fashion moments were happening with Paris Men’s Fashion Week taking place – albeit, with France under coronavirus curfew, to a virtual audience. Among the fashion houses offering digital presentations were Louis Vuitton – who had a pop-up concept store, art installation and an augmented reality presentation, Dior
– whose show had a distinct retro flavour to it, and Paul Smith, who sent a model down the runway in silk pyjamas and an overcoat.
Now that, we can all do.
SIMPLY THE VEST
GILETS are great for this time of year. This ThermoPlume from Lands’ End is incredibly lightweight and bulk-free; its highperformance synthetic insulation mimics the loft and compressibility of down, with the power to keep you warm even when wet.
The water-resistant finish means it shrugs off showers, while the whole thing rolls up and packs away into its own pocket. Oh and it’s even made from recycled plastic bottles. RRP £80 at landsend.co.uk
HAVING recently learned of the joys of Adidias’ legendary Ultraboost trainer design, we are excited about the release of the latest model in the line.
Out this week, the Adidas Ultraboost 21, is being tipped as the best runner on the market, offering incredible energy return with every step. Plus, they are made from Primeblue – a high-performance recycled material made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic. Available in eight colours, they are priced £160, adidas.co.uk
