Funding deal puts firm on right road

A BLACK Country start-up which supplies products for highways projects has secured new funding.

Willenhall-based All Traffic Products provides steel tubes, brackets and road signage fittings to large construction contractors building roads.

It was founded in March last year and began full operations in September after navigating challenges caused by the pandemic.

The company has now secured a funding deal with Santander UK to help it add more staff to its team of seven and take on new business.

All Traffic Products has also moved its day-to-day banking to Santander UK.

Boss Mark Grice said: “Starting a new business is always a difficult proposition but to do it during a pandemic brings exceptional challenges. From the outset, we knew there were some critical decisions to be made regarding finance and cash flow so finding a suitable financial partner was an issue we researched very closely.

“Ten months on, we have firmly established ourselves in the very competitive highways market and are looking to bring in state-ofthe-art machinery and increase the workforce to meet demand.”
