Business awards celebration night is back with a bang

-

BIRMINGHAM is back and ready to network, party and celebrate business excellence again.

The countdown is on for our 2022 business awards on March 18 which will bring together hundreds of people from across the city region’s business community.

In a break from our usual event, this year’s awards will be a slightly less formal affair with the black tie dress code dropped and a live band to dance the night away to. And Heart FM broadcaster Ed James will be our master of ceremonies. Not sure whether to come? Here are five reasons to attend our awards:

Missed out on parties

We have all been under lockdowns and restrictions in some form or another for the past two years, with so many having to forgo Christmas parties last year. This is the first in-person business awards we have held since September 2019 so it will be a great chance for Birmingham’s business community to get together.

Network and reconnect

Let’s face it, video calls might be easy and convenient but they are simply no substitute for a good old face-to-face chinwag. Our event will give you the chance to catch up on the gossip both serious and not-so-serious - with old friends. You might even make some new ones.

Dance to our live band

We have decided to ditch the black tie dress code this year and hire a live band.

The Tzars are masters at getting the party started and will keep your feet dancing until the early hours. Even better news - the event is on a

Friday night so there will be time for a lie in.

Enjoy a splendid meal

Our host for the evening is the ICC in Broad Street - the masters at laying on a great corporate event. The sumptuous three-course dinner will be the perfect accompaniment to our evening of business awards and live music.

Celebrate business excellence

And last but not least, the reason we’re gath

ering together in the first place. Our 2022 Birmingham BusinessLive Awards in association with Birmingham Post will recognise the achievements of employers and individuals across ten different categories.

This year’s event also has a brand new category to recognise those employers championing diversity and inclusion and of course we will award our overall Company of the Year.

Thanks again goes to our event partners Albert’s Schloss, Fazenda and Boardrm.
