HS2 will be ruin of Labour and Tories

DEAR Editor, The government is quite happy to allow HS2 to continue to be built as they continue to collude with Brussels and its grandiose, now obsolete, European transport plan, even though we voted to leave the EU in 2016. The case for it was always phoney and we were never asked if we wanted it – and now Covid has changed everything.

The stupidity and level of destruction will only dawn when it is too late.

History will see HS2 carved in large letters on the tombstone of the Tory and Labour parties.
