NOVEMBER 5 falls on a Saturday for 2022 so lots of Bonfire Night events are taking place on the actual date this year, although there are still plenty of firework displays happening on Friday, November 4. Here’s some in our area...

Willenhall Memorial Park Bonfire & Fireworks is back on Friday, November 4.

You can expect a funfair, a bonfire, a fireworks display and a wide range of catering stalls too. Gates open at 5pm, the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm and the fireworks display will commence from 7pm.

Tickets cost £7.50 for adults and £5 for children (plus booking fees) or you can buy a family ticket for £18. Find out more and book here.

There is no standard car parking on site for this event although Blue Badge parking is available off Pinson Road. This is an advanced ticket only event.

Sandwell’s Illuminate­d Garden and Playground by Night at Dartmouth Park on the Friday featuring family theatre shows, CBeebies stars, fire dancing and a shopping street. There are also fireworks and funfairs, food stalls and music happening at smaller events.

There is no bonfire or fireworks at this event however as the fireworks display happens on Saturday, November 5 in Sandwell.

Halesowen Cricket Club, in Grange Road, fireworks display takes place on Friday, November 4 and features a large family funfair, bars and food stalls selling toffee apples, candy floss and burgers.

You can expect a bonfire, fireworks, a bar and a DJ keeping you entertaine­d all evening at Stourbridg­e Rugby Club’s Family Bonfire and Fireworks 2022.

The event on Bridgnorth Road takes place on Friday, November 4 with gates opening at 6pm.

The bonfire will be lit at 7pm and the fireworks display will happen around 7.30pm.

There will be a fireworks display, children’s rides, a bar and food stalls selling hot food at Redditch Cricket, Hockey, Rugby and Squash Club on Friday, November 4.

Gates open at 5pm and there will be two displays - one at 6.30pm and another at 7.30pm.

Bromsgrove Rugby Football Club’s Bonfire Night event takes place on Friday, November 4. There will be a bonfire, fireworks display and a fairground plus food and drink stalls. And after the fireworks, there will be live music from Jack Read and The Shaders in the clubhouse. The bonfire will be lit at 7.15pm.
