Brum picks up a penguin or two...

A NEW ‘Penguin Parade’ art trail has been launched in Birmingham for the festive season.

The free trail, in aid of Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, spans the whole of the city centre, and is ideal for those looking for an unusual selfie. Each penguin has its own theme, based on ‘‘the wonderful feeling of Christmas’’.

Visitors can pick up trail maps from city centre stores, or download one from the Visit Birmingham website.

To donate to the charity each penguin has a QR code which can be scanned to make a donation.

The penguins will remain in place until Friday, January 6, 2023.
