STEEL YOURSELF FOR A TOP SHOW

Call the Midwife’s Laura Main, Caroline Harker from A Touch Of Frost, Cradle to Grave actress Lucy Speed and The Lifting’s Elizabeth Ayodele are among the star cast of the new tour of Steel Magnolias.

The heart-warming play is based on a true story and Dolly Parton, Julia Roberts, Shirley MacLaine and Sally Field starred in the 1989 film adaptation. The tour visits the Alexander Theatre, Birmingham, from March 21-25.

HEY DUGGEE HITTING THE STAGE

Hit children’s TV show Hey Duggee is to tour the UK for the first time, offering non-stop fun, laughs, singing and dancing. Comedian and musician Vikki Stone, right, has co-adapted the CBeebies favourite for the stage. The tour runs until next August and visits Town Hall, Birmingham, from April 10-12.
