History talk on Witley Court
ON Thursday 25th October, Martin Bond will be giving a talk to the Kidderminster and District Archaeological and Historical Society entitled ‘Chronicles of Witley Court: Part 1’.
This talk covers the period from the Norman invasion through to the 1839 sale by the Foley family. It will identify the key characters associated with the Court, and explore their role and involvement in the story of one of England’s finest country houses
This is our first afternoon meeting, starting at 2pm, so do come along. Both day and evening meetings are held in St George’s Annexe, adjacent to St George’s Church, Radford Avenue, Kidderminster, DY10 2ES.
There is a small charge for visitors who are very welcome.
