Tunes for charity raise a grand total

Black Country Bugle - - YOUR LETTERS -

WILLENHALL Singers hosted their Annual Charity Concert ‘Care Around the Clock’ on Saturday 6th October.

The proceeds of the evening were presented to Marie Curie Nurses. £1,000 was raised during the evening, but the amount will rise to at least £1,300 when the eventual presentation is made.

The choir offers heartfelt thanks to friends old and new who helped to raise this magnificent sum.

The choir will be taking part in ‘Park in the Dark - A Soldier’s Tale’ in Willenhall Memorial Park on Saturday 10th November at 7 pm to commemorate the signing of the First World War Armistice in November 1918.

As well as sober reflection, there will be music from the era and opportunity to join in the popular songs from that time. Do come and join us!
