Christmas tree fest to raise choir funds

Black Country Bugle - - YOUR LETTERS -

THE 2018 Christmas Tree Festival at Wesley Methodist Church, West Bromwich, takes place on Saturday, 8th December, from 11am to 4.30pm.

“Voices of Hope” choir, Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust’s first choir for cancer patients, survivors and their carers has been chosen as our preferred charity for this year’s “Memory Tree”.

Visitors and friends may commemorate weddings, christenings or the loss of a loved one, by writing on a decoration to hang on the tree. All money raised from the sale of these decorations will be donated to the “Voices of Hope” choir.

The Memory Tree will be one of the main attractions at our Christmas Tree Festival. Over 25 trees will have been thoughtfully and imaginatively decorated by local youth organisations, schools, clubs and societies, families and individuals from the West Bromwich community.

At 5pm on Saturday, 8th December, there will be a Christmas Carol Concert open to everyone, with free entry. Rory Green xmas[email protected]leywestbrom.co.uk
