Calling all fans of heavy metal
THE Home of Metal project will have a number of big events this year, including a series of exhibitions across the Midlands and the call has gone out for fans to help play their part.
“We are currently recruiting Home of Metal volunteers,” said executive producer Kate Self. “Home of Metal will be delivering a major public programme of exhibitions and events this summer and we’re looking for people who are passionate about Heavy Metal and local history to join our groundbreaking project, celebrating music from Birmingham and the Black Country. Volunteers will receive training to support our exhibitions and events, be encouraged to share their knowledge with our audiences, as well as meet with other fans and enthusiasts.”
Training and support will be provided and the deadline for registering is January 30, 2019.
