Good advice took years to sink in

NOW is the time for New Year’s Resolutions.

Going back many years, this reminds me of my school days at Rowley Regis Grammar School, and the indomitable Mr Lloyd.

Frequently he would say to us ‘Live this day as if it were your last’.

Sadly it was advice that was wasted on the young.

When you get more mature (old!) you realise it is very vaulable advice.
