Wartime survivor still on the street

I thought the readers might be interested in seeing this photograph.

I took them recently in Oldbury outside what I think was the old Lloyds bank.

I wonder if anyone knows more about it, could the shelter have been part of the bank vault? Its also great to see that it was made by a famous company here in the Black Country.
