2022 calendar competition

- By DAN SHAW

WOULD you like to have the opportunity to have one of your photographs featured on the Friends of Saltwells 2022 calendar?

Your work appear alongside that of Martin Weaver, who provided the stunning photographs for the 2020 and 2021 calendars.

Photographs can be entered into any one of three themes: Saltwells in Winter; Hidden Secrets; and A New Perspective.

Seasons

Do you love visiting Saltwells in all seasons? Do you have a favourite secret spot in Saltwells? Do you like to look at things in a new way? The Friends of Saltwells would love to see your take on those themes.

There are some simple rules to follow: you must respect Saltwells Nature Reserve and its wildlife and plants while taking your photographs.

Photographs must be the original work of the entrant and taken within Saltwells National Nature Reserve.

Protetcion

Your photographs must not feature any people for personal protection reasons.

Digital photographs can be altered and while it’s fine to crop your image to improve composition, you must not digitally enhance your photographs in any way.

Entries must be JPEG files and emailed to The Friends of Saltwells Nature Reserve at friend sofsaltwells@gmail.com by the end of September 2021.

Let them know which theme each photograph relates to, where in Saltwells it was taken and which month of the year it was taken.

The winners will be notified by the end of October 2021, will be credited in the calendar and will receive complimentary copies of the calendar to share with friends and family.
